Don't even think about this as a healthy dish. The beef might be steamed, but the end product is the beef floating in a bowl full of oil with Szechuan chilis and some cabbage. The beef was tender and infused with flavor from the chili oil. It is not for the weak willed though! If you don't like spice avoid this like the bubonic plague. If you love spicy food, then embrace this like the second mother you always wanted.
