“If you are looking for a fine dining tasting menu in Barcelona, look no further. Of course, your particular dishes may vary, but the food is sure to please.
Ordinarily, Osmosis only offers this fixed menu for dinner. They are quite good about adjusting the menu based upon allergies and dietary restrictions.
The first dish was a thick cut of heavenly foie with apple and vanilla. Delicious! The waiter confused our table for the one over and brought us another serving; it was difficult to be honest and send it back.
Next, sardines on puff pastry. I'm not the biggest fan of sardines, but what really made this dish work was the honey that toned down the salty aftertaste.
We were then presented with a lentil soup. Still good, but perhaps my least favorite. Up next was penne and cuttlefish. A clever presentation where they are stacked to look similar to one another. Adorned with a mango foam.
The main entree was a wonderful pork tenderloin with foie (one can never have enough), truffle, and potato in a puff pastry. Two desserts followed including a Spanish 'mel i mato' and chocolates.
As of this writing the seven course dinner tasting is 48 euro. An excellent value for the quality of food!”
