Pad Thai

May Restaurant and Lounge

...it's the real deal...phenomenal... servers toss the noodles right in front of you with lime, ground peanuts, a kicky homemade tamarind sauce, and fresh banana flowers.

Incredible pad thai and best in the city! The ingredients are incredibly fresh and they even use house-made tamarind sauce. They prepare it table-side so you can watch the magic unfold before your very eyes. The most unusually ingredient is the fresh banana flower (yes, the flower from a banana tree) which gave it a nice crunchy texture.

My favorite pad thai. Love that they leave the spice and sugar on the side so I can control my portion

Unquestionably the best Pad Thai in the city! I love, love, love the presentation and how perfect it tastes. As good as what I've had in Thailand.

They even prepare it table side, mixing all the ingredients before your eyes. It was a nice touch to ask you how spicy we wanted it and see them add the chili powder right there.

Best Pad Thai in Seattle! So many restaurants use ketchup to make this classic dish, but at May they only use tamarind. To top it off, it's beautifully presented in a banana leaf.
