“The promise: Sea scallops seared to perfection in extra virgin olive oil, garlic tapenade and fresh cilantro, all served on an amazing baguette.
The reality: the scallops were indeed perfectly cooked and the onions with the garlic tapenade was insanely tasty. The problem was the sum of its parts. As great as the scallops individually tasted, they were too delicate to be in a sandwich. Each bite would cause one of more pieces to pop put making a messy sandwich even messier.
However, the onions, tapenade and bread still saved it and helped it eek out a 4 spoon review.
Tip: Ask for it '5 stars' if you like things spicy!”
