Beef was freshly ground for sure but wayyy too much salt
Aioli was the best part. Next the fries

Zagat
... eight ounces of Niman Ranch ground chuck topped with pickled zucchini (yes, zucchini) and onions on a buttered housemade English muffin [...] what makes the price tag really soar are the luxe add-ons such as truffles (available now and in season) and the requisite glass of Burgundy to accompany it.
SF Weekly
... plump with Niman Ranch beef on a housemade bun with house-pickled zucchini and red onion -- is pretty special...
Grub Street
...a modest eight-ouncer using Niman Ranch beef, and one unique accompaniment has always been the pickled zucchini alongside the pickled onions.

Took the crown from the cheeseburger at Fish and Farm as the best burger in the city for me.

Solid burger that comes garnished with the basics: lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. It's served with aioli and ketchup on the side, but I only used the ketchup. I felt the aioli would have ruined the otherwise perfect burger.

The burger itself was really juicy and the bun tasted ultra fresh.

Terrific burger where everything is perfect. The bun is housemade and the patty was grilled to perfection. Perfect medium rare and moist beyond belief. For toppings, it came with the usual suspects like cheese, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce, but it also adds in great pickled zuchini that is marinaded in tumeric giving it a bright red/pink color.

The bun was a bit thin for my liking, but everything else about it lives up to the hype.
