As others have warned, these wings are very salty. Once past that though, the meat is tender with great flavor.

These were very salty but incredible nonetheless. Truly lived up to all the critical acclaim! They are fried very crispy and covered in a secret sauce based on fish sauce. It's apparently a recipe from one of the cook's hometown in Thailand.

One order is six pieces and definitely enough to share with up to 4 people or even 6 as long as no one wants more than one piece to themselves..

It comes in two varieties: regular and spicy. The spicy wasn't all that spicy and I highly recommend it if you prefer some heat to your food.

...'Crunchy, tender, falls of the bone'...these Vietnamese style chicken wings 'never disappoint'...marinated overnight in a fish sauce, then dredged in rice flour and tempura, these wings are deep-fried and caramelized in a fish glaze.

...seem to have an extra measure of meat on them, which makes them more filling in theory. But in practice, that does not stop anybody from chewing on the bones, gnawing on the crunchy wing tips and then licking the garlic, fish sauce and caramel from their fingers. The wings come with pickled daikon and carrots topped with sprigs of rau ram, a Southeast Asian herb...

I've had these 3 times, but on this visit, it was really salty! I know fish sauce is a salty condiment and this dish is on the salty side, but it was just way overkill on the saltiness.

I actually saw this in a Seattle food blog so had to try it when I came to Portland. All I can say is these were fairly magical, straight out of a cooking storybook! A little sweet, a little sticky and perfectly cooked on the grill. So good.

The combination of fish sauce and garlic make for some fine wings. These are some of the best I've had in the city.
