“An absolute gastronomic adventure and up there as one of the very best meals I've ever had in my life. Its obvious why this is one of the few three Michelin star rated restaurants in the country.
The 9-course menu rotates daily with either a seasonal vegetable sampling or a tasting menu. We chose the Chefs tasting menu and were blown away by the variety, assortment and quality of everything plated in front of us.
Despite being labeled a 9-courses, we ended up eating 19 plates of food including the amuse Boucher and several different desserts.
Some of the dishes we had were:
- Smoked buttermilk sorbet with compressed sour apples, pickled beets, avocado and toasted pumpernickel - Florida red snapper terrine with cucumber and tomato glaze - Fried soft-shell crab from Chesapeake Bay with an amazing San Manzo tomato marmalade and horseradish creme fraiche - Butter poached Nova Scotia lobster - White truffle infused custard with a ragout of black winter truffles
The entire experience from the cocktails to the wait staff was incredible and ranking up there with the very best I've experienced in my life. Our entire experience was 6 hours from start to finish. If you have the means and time to experience this tasting menu at Per Se, you need to make a reservation immediately!”
