Turkish ravioli, or Manti, were brought to Europe, Asia and the Middle East by Central Asian tribes during the Mongolian Empire.
These manti were filled with a spiced filling of ground lamb and topped with housemade yogurt sauce that gave it a tart, almost citrusy kick to it. A drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of fresh mint smoothed the dish out in a super tasty way.”
